2019 Gift Guide: Games for Adolescents

These games are appropriate for children as they work to develop language skills. They assist in targeting “WH” questions such as who, what, where, when, and why. In addition, they promote social skills such as conversational turn taking, eye contact, and topic maintenance, and even body language. These games can also be used to target following directions.

Guess Who? Game
HedBanz Game
Candy Land
Chutes & Ladders
Spot It
Kerplunk
Apples to Apples Jr.
Yeti in My Spaghetti
Uno
Connect 4

These are just a few game ideas to support your child’s learning and development this holiday season. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of our speech-language pathologists on the Panel.
