Given the current events and reframing from face to face in person contact, it is even more important to take time to recognize the people, activities, and things we have in our lives. Practicing gratitude daily is a simple, yet powerful activity that everyone in home can participate in to improve homes emotional wellbeing. Sharing what you are grateful for is a great way to connect and enhance your relationships with others. There are several ways to engage in this practice including: using a jar/box and slips of papers, an individual journal/notebook, a family chalkboard/bulletin board or a digital video blog. Grab your supplies and start your family’s gratitude adventure.

Gratitude Simple Steps

  1. Open you mind to thoughts/memories to be thankful for daily. Once you've come up with your main gratitude for the day, go a bit deeper into why you chose it. ...

  2. Write down your gratitude. Use any medium to capture your thought and why you chose it.

  3. Keep you daily gratitude safe in jar/box, posted on the family board or on a social media site.

  4. Schedule a time to share with others.
